About us
Rainflower is a member of Nordic Climate-KIC Greenhouse Programme. Dialogues with Danish Technological Institute and major multinationals based in Denmark for further partnerships are on going. The Innovadapt website is a temporary a teaser to inform the public about the potential of creating sustainable solutions to confront the future challenges. Innovadapt is at the moment out of operation, but collaborators are must welcome.
Marco Carreira Silva
Founder and Entrepreneur
Marco Carreira Silva is a climate adaptation entrepreneur, Climate-KIC Alumni. He has 5 years of project management experience, worked in 6 countries and co-founded AIESEC and LearnMore in Mozambique.
Marco’s competences are sustainable urban drainage systems design, user-driven design and organizational management.
He concludes a MSc. in Climate Change at University of Copenhagen. He has MSc. in Technology Innovation at Aalborg University Copenhagen.

Mikkel Sølbeck
Urban strategist and Entrepreneur
Mikkel Sølbeck is an urban strategist at the Municipality of Copenhagen.
He is experienced in 3D design, property formation and urban planning at Vejdirektoratet and Geopartner.
Mikkel’s competences are within urban planning and climate adaptation. He has MSc. in Land Management at Aalborg University with specialization on sustainability. His master’s thesis was centered in Danish climate adaptation strategies with a focus on urban revitalization.
Alongside his urban studies he had been committed in Incubators program at Aalborg Innovation that gave him insight into business development and entrepreneurship on how to validate ideas, concepts and built a business in the initial phase before implementation in practice.
